Marsden Jazz Festival

Main Content Inline Small

Dates: 9 - 11 October

The 18th annual Marsden Jazz Festival offers 18 main events and 53 free concerts over 3 days. The festival, located at the top of the Colne Valley in the Pennines, will attract arround 8,000 visitors this year.

This year Jazz Yorkshire is supporting their 'New Stream' programme which features cutting-edge gigs from up-coming musicians from our region - most of whom are Leeds College of Music alumni or students: Ruby Wood, Trio VD (pictured), IDST and The Hitmen are on the programme. To encourage people to try bands they haven't heard before the organisers are pricing the gigs individually at an affordable £4. Look for the New Stream logo in the programme. There are also family friendly events on the Sunday with workshops and interactive performances.
